Produktion bei Magna Steyr in Graz startet 2017

Die erfolgreiche strategische Partnerschaft zwischen der BMW Group und Magna begann im Jahr 2001 mit der Entwicklung der Produktionslinien. 2003 lief der erste, von Magna in Graz gefertigte BMW X3 vom Band. Auch die Erfolgsmodelle MINI Countryman und MINI Paceman werden seit 2010 beziehungsweise 2012 im steirischen Werk produziert.
Mit den neuen Kundenaufträgen der BMW Group und von Jaguar Land Rover, sowie der Vertragsverlängerung zum Bau der Mercedes G-Klasse werden ab dem Jahr 2018 rund 200.000 Fahrzeuge die Grazer Werkshallen verlassen.
